Leisure and Gaming
Selling Casino
There had been some talk about Leisure and Gaming
selling one of their subsidiaries, and it seems that it may be more
than just talk. eGamingBrokerage.com has revealed that the company
has been exploring the possibilities of selling Grouse
Entertainment.
Grouse is the owner of a Curacao gaming license, as well as having
its own equipment and using Playtech casino software. However, most
significantly of all of this is that they are the legal entity that
owns and operates AcropolisCasino.com, one of the oldest online
slots casinos around.
The AIM listed company is considered to be the world’s largest
betting and gaming company, and many are surprised that the company
would consider letting it go. They have decided to let it go for a
half of a million dollars, which is not bad considering the size and
following that the online slots casino currently has.
The casino had more than 24,000 non US cash players, and even though
it has not been marketed at all as of late, it is still bringing in
$100,000 each month in net win, and $16,000 per month in EBIT. This
is because people know and trust the site, and even though it may
not get recognized often, it is still honest and trustworthy and
people look for that in a casino.
