James Gandolfini to Appear at Global Gaming Expo

For those of you who just can’t get enough Sopranos, the Global Gaming Expo will be able to give you your fix for now. James Gandolfini, the star of the Sopranos, will be on hand to present the newest slots from Aristocrat Technologies.

Unless you have been living under a rock, you know that Gandolfini played Tony Soprano, the main man of the HBO series The Sopranos. Gandolfini’s character was the mob boss of the series, and the show ended with one of the strangest and most talked about endings in series’ history.

However, this time around we can only assume that Gandolfini won’t be packing anything except his excitement for the new slots from Aristocrat Technologies. The company says that they knew that with the show ending there would be a large group that did not want to see the Sopranos end, and a themed slots game is their way of filling that need.

The Global Gaming Expo, or G2E as it is referred to, is one of the hottest tickets in the slots and gaming industry. Anyone and everyone who is in the industry comes to see the latest slots and gaming technologies that are being offered. Everyone from executives and tribal leaders to buyers and assistants will be at the expo to see what sort of slots they might be recommending to their clients this year.

The online slots and gambling industry is one of the few who do not as a rule come to the show, only because of bad blood there in the past. Gandolfini will be there to introduce the Soprano themed slots game, as well as being there for the opening ceremonies.
