Seminoles Offering Slots This Summer

Having been approved to offer Vegas type Class III slots now at their casino locations, the Seminole Tribe of Florida announced that they are going to be able to start offering their slots this upcoming summer. The first location to get the slots will be the Hard Rock Casino located in Tampa.

The tribe says that the addition of so many slots will ultimately lead to more jobs as well. They are planning on hiring about 1,000 new employees for the Tampa location alone. Most of them will become dealers for the casino. They will run the baccarat, pai gow poker and blackjack tables.

They will be hiring an additional 2,650 blackjack dealers for their six other locations. They will be recruiting out of New Jersey, Connecticut and Mississippi as that is where the experience lies. However, they urge locals to apply as well.

They will also be needing floor supervisors, pit managers, etc. and those positions will be hired via the internet. They have already opened their first 1,000 slots at their Hollywood location and will be opening another 700 at their Coconut Creek location.
