Exhibition Has Good
Turnout
Online gambling may have been hit hard this year,
but no one seems to have told the industry. In a world where more
and more people are trying to push their issues on those that have
none, online slots and gambling seem to have garnered more than
enough of their share of the attention.
However, for an industry that is supposedly doomed, they are still
doing better than anyone expected. The 2008 International Casino
Exhibition in London proved that point better than anyone else could
have. New products, technologies, etc. were there for the offering,
and so were the people who chose to view them.
Last year the exhibition saw about 25,000 visitors; and this year
saw even more. People from around the world came to see what the
online slots and gambling industry had to offer, and what sorts of
games they would be expecting to see in the casinos. With more than
280 companies there to show what they had to offer, it truly made
one feel that any thing was possible – including repealing the UIGEA.
One of the major highlights of the event was the Big Tony’s Texas
Hold’em – where people were lined up hoping for a chance at playing
the game. Net Entertainment had a great choice of slots to show as
well. Between their online slots and B&M poker games, the company is
poised to make a real showing this year. Row after row promised a
new tomorrow in the gambling industry – from Icy Wonders to
Superlucky Frog – they are bound to keep you entertained.
