Austria and Austrian
Lotteries Not a Merger
According to Casinos Austria General Director Karl
Stoss, their company and that of Austrian Lotteries are not merging,
contrary to recent reports. The two companies are going to be
working together but according to Stoss there will be no formal
merger between the two companies. They might consider moving their
businesses to be closer to each other, but a formal merger will not
happen.
They are planning on working together to create an online poker
room, using technology that they purchased from Sweden, but that is
as far as it goes. They will be setting up the new online poker game
on the Win2Day.at website, and they plan on it being very
successful.
They say that now is the best time for them work together to build
it as the momentum behind online poker has been growing, and they
want to strike while the iron is hot. They would limit their bets to
Euro 800 a week per player so that they do not have to worry about
people developing gambling addictions.
Casinos Austria International knows a little about online slots and
gambling rooms already. They have a ton of land based casinos, with
more than 10,800 slots running through them and their parent
company. The site that they have chosen to run their online poker
room from is already well known in the business for having some of
the best online slots and gambling games around.
