Soiled Slots Seat

It is a sad and pathetic statement for the slots business when you have to worry about the seat that you are about to sit on in terms of whether or not it is clean. Not just clean, but clean, dry and not urinated on. It seems that this is a very common problem in the casinos, one that is not discussed much, but a problem nonetheless. People playing the slots seem to have issue with using the restroom to relieve themselves instead of their chair.

Floyd Kibiloski found this out the hard way. He was playing the slots at the Caesars Indiana casino last month and was sitting next to a woman, who got up and vacated her seat. Since he wasn’t having much luck at the slots that he was playing, he thought he’d move over a seat. Imagine his surprise and horror to discover that the chair was soaked with urine and now so was he.

He said that was not even the worst part of it. He informed Caesars who gave him no assistance in getting cleaned up, and he had to walk to his car to get a pair of sweats out of his car – dripping the whole way. He told the casino who did nothing about the chair, and another man sat down there and got soaked also. He says that it was ridiculous for the both of them to have to go through this, and has filed a complaint wit the Indiana Gaming Commission.

Judy Hess, speaking on behalf of the casino, said that they “dropped the ball” and that the chair should have been removed immediately. They find that their older customers and compulsive gamblers don’t want to leave their slots seats so they sit there and urinate where they are. Some wear diapers so that they don’t have to use the bathroom, and experts said that this was not uncommon, but not something that the casinos like to talk about.
