Slot Review: Spinning For Gold
The story of
Rumpelstiltskin is one that is very popular in our culture, and has
subsequently popped up in many different forms. Basically, the tale
is that of a miller’s daughter. She is very beautiful, but the
miller is very poor. He boasts to the king that his daughter can
spin straw into gold. The king locks the girl up in his tower, and
orders her to make good on the bargain. If she can do so for three
days, he’ll marry her. If not, she’ll lose her head. Luckily, an
industrious imp comes along and helps the poor girl out. He’s happy
to do her a favor, with one condition – she must forfeit her
firstborn child when she marries the king. The story proceeds
happily, until the girl has her baby and the imp demands his
payment. The tearful new mother begs for some reprieve, and the imp
says that he will leave her alone with the baby if she can guess his
name. The queen sneaks out to spy on the imp, and hears him speak
his name – Rumpelstiltskin. The imp is furious, but has to leave the
queen in peace. This online slot game is dedicated to that legend.
