Slot Review: Double Bubble

Double Bubble is certainly a fun and enjoyable online slot. Dare we even call it… effervescent? You’ll be floating on air with this easy-to-play, low-risk pokey, and we think that this is one that is sure to please just about everyone. We don’t really know what bubbles have to do with fruit, but the combination certainly puts a twist on the standard fruit machine theme and makes things livelier – even if all the fruit looks like it is floating in a washing machine!

Double Bubble is a five-reel, twenty-payline online slot by Gamesys. Coin values start at one cent and range upwards to ten cents. Max coins is set at a value of twenty, which makes the highest per-spin wager one of two dollars. You can play this title as a penny slot if you wish, however. The jackpot is twenty thousand coins. On the max bet, this comes out to two thousand dollars. That’s an amount that is likely to put some spring in your step!

Double Bubble is very perky, with a retro look and feel that suits the theme nicely. Fruit like cherries, lemons, oranges, and grapes appear on the reels, along with lucky sevens and single/double/triple BAR symbols. The Double Bubble title logo is wild. There is a bonus game in which you get to pop bubbles (digital ones, unfortunately) to reveal the prize amount underneath, which you win. To trigger this bubbly bonus game, the bonus symbols must appear anywhere on reels one, three, and five.
