Slot Review: No
Worries
In the hit Disney movie The Lion King, Simba’s
animal sidekicks Timon (a meerkat) and Pumbaa (a warthog) sang a
song about their personal philosophy – “Hakuna Matata.” The phrase
is Swahili for “no worries”… which, coincidentally, is the name of
this online slot game! Unlike The Lion King, which took place in
Africa, No Worries is actually based in Australia. It’s said that
those folks living Down Under are so laid back that they are
practically horizontal, and this slot machine title is reminiscent
of that laid-back and “chill” attitude! Hang out in the bush with
some adorable Aussie animals while you take some spins towards big
payouts!
No Worries is a five-reel, nine-payline online slot machine title by
Microgaming. Coin values start at one cent and range upwards to
twenty cents. Max coins is set at ninety, or ten coins per payline.
That makes the highest per-spin wager one of eighteen dollars, which
is pretty reasonable for punters of all bankrolls. The jackpot is
five thousand coins. On a maxed-out spin that’s one thousand
dollars. It seems like a small prize, but it is also one that pays
out often!
The No Worries title logo is wild, which means that it can stand in
for any other symbol on the reels in a winning combination. The
boomerang and the Tasmanian devil are scatter symbols. Getting at
least three Tazzas anywhere on the reels will win you a prize, while
three or more boomerangs will win you free spins – as many as
twenty-five, at a multiplier ranging from two times to eight time
your bet amount! The kangaroo, kookaburra, and other native wildlife
also appear.
