Slot Review: Golden
Goose – Totem Treasure
Golden Goose: Totem Treasure is a reboot of the
five-reel, four-payline Totem Treasure online slot game. This
version of Golden Goose comes equipped with several more paylines, a
similarly small jackpot, and graphics that can’t be described as
much better than sub-par. The Golden Goose series of slot machine
titles are united by common video bonus games, which feature a very
special goose as the main character – the one who laid the golden
egg. Golden Goose: Totem Treasure has a Native American theme. The
characters depicted are not especially flattering, and tend more
towards tribal stereotypes. Nor is the theme particularly well
supported by generic images of teepees, squaws, and bald eagles. The
quality of the bonus games is probably the single most attractive
feature of this online slot game, but we would recommend some of the
other Golden Goose titles in that case.
Golden Goose – Totem Treasure is a five-reel, twenty payline online
slot machine title by top casino software provider Microgaming. Coin
values range from one cent to twenty cents, which means that this
title is playable as a penny slot, should you so choose. Max coins
is two hundred fifty, making the highest per-spin wager one of fifty
dollars. The jackpot is twelve thousand coins, or twenty-four
hundred dollars. Not much of an enticement to spin the reels of this
slot game, but that’s just our opinion.
The “wild squaw” is the wild symbol for this online slot game, and
can fill in for any other symbol on the reels in a winning
combination. We won’t even touch on how degrading it is that there
is, in fact, a “wild squaw” symbol at all. The scatter skull is the
scatter symbol. There are four different Golden Goose-themed bonus
games, with prizes ranging from free spins to cash.
