Slot Review: Ladies
Nite
We don’t know how they pulled it off, but
Microgaming managed to take the fun of a girls’ night out and suck
the life right out of it. You’ll notice that we said “night,” not “nite.”
The cutesy spelling of the Ladies Nite slot machine title is the
least of its problems. The idea behind this pokey was good, since
slot games aimed at female players are few and far between and
everyone loves the party theme of online slots. Unfortunately, the
execution really fell through. What was probably meant to be lively
and exciting turned out garish and insipid. There’s only a small
jackpot attached to the game, so we’re not sure what exactly will
attract players – ladies or gentlemen – to this title.
Ladies Nite is a five-reel, nine-payline slot machine title. Coin
values start at one cent and range upwards to one dollar, which
means that this can be played as a penny slot, the likes of which
are so popular right now. Max coins is set at forty-five (five coins
per payline), which makes the highest per-spin wager one of
forty-five dollars. The jackpot is ten thousand coins, which makes
the top prize one that is not spectacular at ten thousand dollars.
Frankly, you can take your chances at much higher jackpots and more
entertaining slots for that money!
The symbol of the disco ball is the wild symbol for this slot game.
It doubles the payout of any combinations it completes, and can fill
in for any other images in a winning combination. The hunky waiter
is the scatter symbol – find at least three of this guy to win
fifteen free spins! There is a gamble feature that is activated with
any winning combination, which gives you the chance to double or
quadruple your winnings with guessing the correct color or suit of a
playing card.
