Slot Review: Lucky
Lady
When we picture Lady Luck, we imagine a classy
dame indeed. We think of the kind of gal that Sinatra would have
swooned for, a retro knockout with pin curls, a va-va-voom red dress
with long gloves, and great legs clad in black silk stockings and
high heels. This is not to be confused with the “Lucky Lady,” which
would be the sort of sweetly ironic name given to military aircraft
vessels during World War II. Lucky Lady has a vintage feel that
should appeal to history buffs everywhere, with plenty of 1940s-era
nostalgia. There have been several military-themed online slots that
we have reviewed without much enthusiasm, but we can honestly say
that we enjoyed this title.
Lucky Lady is a five-reel, nine-payline online slot title by
Cryptologic. Coin values range from ten cents to five dollars, with
max coins of nine making the highest per-spin wager one of
forty-five dollars. The jackpot is a thousand coins, or five
thousand dollars on a max bet. Don’t worry if this doesn’t sound
like too much money – this game pays out often.
The poker symbols on the reels have an authentic vintage look to
them, and the theme is supported well by the symbols on the reels –
lipstick-kissed letters written to sweethearts, military stars, and
images of aircrafts and piloting gear. There are wilds and scatters,
as well as a bonus game in which you pick from several flying
aircraft to choose and add up the hidden bonus amounts that they are
carrying!
