Slot Review:
LotsaLoot [5 Reel]
LotsaLoot is a slot machine title that is very
much like the classic fruit machine games that came before modern
slots. When the first poker machine was invented, it was called thus
because there were fifty-two playing cards in the hopper of the
terminal. Spinning the hopper would cause three cards to fall into
the display slots of the machine – the equivalent of today’s reels.
Depending on what “hand” you got, you might or might not win a
prize. Slot games have come a very long way since then, but any
games that still fill out reel space with letters and numbers are in
homage to these classics.
LotsaLoot is a five-reel, twenty-five payline version of the
quintessential three-reel, single-payline online slot machine game
by Microgaming. Coin size is fixed at ten cents, with max coins of
twenty-five (one per payline) making the highest per-spin wager one
of two dollars and fifty cents. There is a progressive jackpot
attached to this game. It kicks off at twenty-five hundred dollars,
and typically hits around twenty-one thousand dollars, although it
has climbed into six figures before!
Brightly-colored letters and numbers fill the reels of this online
slot game, along with such lucky symbols as a four-leaf clover, a
pot of gold with a rainbow above it, and a multicolored BAR symbol.
To win the progressive jackpot you will need to line up five
LotsaLoot symbols on the twenty-fifth payline. This symbol is also
wild, and can fill in for any other on the reels in a winning
combination.
