Slot Review:
Kathmandu
Kathmandu (also called Katmandu) is the capital
city of Nepal, as well as considered to be one of the most beautiful
and ancient cities in the world. This gateway to Mount Everest is
home to several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and became famous in
the Western world during the 1960s for being part of the infamous
Hippie Trail. Hinduism and Buddhism are the two major religions of
Nepal, with tourism often called “the third religion” of Kathmandu,
which is flooded year round with backpackers, pilgrims, and
wanderers from around the globe. The Kathmandu online slot machine
game is a tribute to the rich history and culture of this town.
Kathmandu is a slot machine title by Microgaming. Coin values start
at one cent and range upwards to twenty-five cents, with max coins
of one hundred eighty making the top per-spin wager one of
forty-five dollars. The jackpot is six thousand coins, or fifteen
hundred dollars on a maximum bet.
The graphics of this slot game would not be counted among
Microgaming’s best, to be perfectly honest. The images are mostly
depicted in colors of blue and green, with letters and numbers in
jewels tones filling out space on the reels. You will see an ancient
Nepalese bell, a bejeweled elephant, and a nap of the city on the
reels. The prayer wheel is wild and the bell is the scatter symbol –
get at least three of these icons to trigger fifteen free spins at a
random multiplier amount. In a simple bonus game, correctly choose
the color and/or suit of a hidden card for the chance to quadruple
your winnings!
