Slot Review: Sevens
Ablaze
Sevens Ablaze is a very typical three-reel,
five-payline online slot game… in fact, it’s so typical that we had
trouble remembering it after we had spun the reels a few times!
Nothing about this title from Parlay Entertainment is exceptional –
not the dull gray background of the digitally-depicted casino in the
background, not the theme revolving around the classic symbol of the
number seven, and not the five-reel setup. The jackpot certainly
isn’t exceptional, either. We have never been huge fans of the
“classic” genre of internet slot machines, but this game may appeal
more to those who like throwback titles.
Sevens Ablaze is features coin values starting at five cents and
ranging upwards to one dollar. Max coins is five, for one coin
wagered per payline. That makes the highest per-spin bet one of just
five dollars. The good thing about this title is its accessibility
for punters of all bankrolls, not just the whales among us. The
in-games jackpot is one thousand coins, for a modest one thousand
dollar jackpot on a max wager. There is also a small progressive
jackpot that is random, and can be won on any spin.
Flaming images of the number seven, along with sunbursts, single,
double, and triple BAR symbols are the images on the reels of this
online slot game. Three sevens on the fifth payline will win you the
jackpot. Three sevens on all other paylines will win you a prize of
two hundred fifty coins. The graphics are uninspiring, and the setup
(in which you appear to play an actual slot machine terminal) makes
for a very small pay table and presentation of the reels, which we
did not enjoy.
