Slot Review: Centre Court
As the title
suggests, Centre Court is an online slot machine game having to do
with the sport of tennis. Tennis is fun to play, but boring to watch
in our collective opinions. This online slot is luckily much more
enjoyable than watching two players lob a small ball back and forth
across a net! Those who get a bit more entertainment out of tennis
than we do are starting to get excited for Wimbledon around this
time of year. Therefore, this strong new addition to the stable of
Microgaming online slots will surely be a welcome hearkener of
what’s to come!
Centre Court is a five-reel, nine-payline online slot machine title.
Coin values range from one cent to twenty-five cents, which means
that you can play this title as a penny slot if you so wish. Max
coins is set at ninety, or ten coins per payline. That makes the
highest per-spin wager one of twenty-two dollars and fifty cents.
The jackpot is one thousand coins, or two hundred fifty dollars. We
personally wouldn’t play the max bet for a jackpot that’s so paltry
in comparison to the highest wager, but everyone has their own
prerogative.
The trophy is the wild symbol for this online slot. The tennis ball
is the scatter symbol, and also the bonus symbol. Getting at least
three of these on screen at the same time will net you eighteen free
spins at a mystery multiplier that can go as high as quintuple (five
times!) your bet amount. There is also a gamble feature in which you
can choose red or black for a random playing card to double your win
amount. The graphics are strong, and support the tennis theme well
with their crispness and clarity.
