Slot Review: The
High Life
The high life. We all dream of living it, yet so
few of us get the chance to do so. A popular platitude holds that
the best things in life are free, yet very few people get such fun
material things as cars, boats, and fancy houses without plenty of
cash. The High Life online slot game certainly won’t have you
rolling in the dough. In fact, one might say that the winnings made
possible on this title are little more than chump change. That
wouldn’t be too bad, if this Microgaming offering delivered
adequately on the glitz and glamour that a punter so named should be
bestowed with. All in all, this title was something of a
disappointment to us.
The High Life is a five-reel, five-payline slot game. Coin values
range from a penny to two dollars, with max coins of one hundred.
Two hundred dollars a spin may well be a high roller’s bet, but
three thousand dollars is hardly considered ample compensation for a
whale. The fifteen hundred coin jackpot is pretty spare for a slot
based all around the concept of luxury!
Letters and numbers make up the majority of the symbols on the
reels, in a none-too-inspired choice. You will also see such perks
of good living as a yacht, a sports car, a box of cigars, and a
champagne cocktail. There are wild, scatter, and multiplier symbols,
but nothing to get very excited about. This slot game is like
Lifestyles of the Rich and Generic.
