Slot Review: Red
Sands
Red Sands is an online slot game dedicated to the
theme of the Australian Outback, one of the last great undeveloped
expanses on Earth. This is home to many famous marsupials like Koala
Bears, as well as kangaroos, wallabies, and all sorts of other
exciting animals. Too bad that this slot machine title is pretty
uninspiring and dull. All in all, Red Sands is a thoroughly mediocre
offering from Real Time Gaming, an internet casino software company
that we really have come to associate with better things than this.
There’s nothing dreadful about this slot title, per se, but we’d
have a hard time finding anything worth writing home about, either.
Red Sands is a five-reel, twenty-payline online slot machine title.
Coin values start at one cent and go as high as five dollars, with
the max coins value set at twenty – one coin per payline allowed,
for a max bet of one hundred dollars per spin. High rollers can make
that wager for a shot at a twenty-five thousand dollar jackpot –
five thousand coins. It’s enough for a round-trip ticket to check
out the Land Down Under, and maybe buy yourself some nice souvenirs!
Letters and numbers make up almost all of the symbols in this online
slot game, which is pretty disappointing in light of the creativity
that developers COULD have put into this title. The background is a
panoramic vista of the red sands of the title, with some curious
kangaroos checking things out. There is a random, progressive
jackpot that can hit at any time and add some cash to your bankroll,
along with wilds, scatters, and some bonus, free re-spins that are
activated with at least two Moonscape icons on the reels.
