Romance Blossoms for Slots Players

Just a little late for Valentine’s Day comes a story that made us all go, “aww!” Most online slots players are hoping that lady Luck smiles on them when they spin the reels, but how many of us can actually say that we got lucky in love playing the slots? Two CasinoMeister forum members who go by the handles “Swede” and “Cynthial” can, now! In a story that made internet gambling industry news and was awarded the Forum Highlight of the Year 2008 award at CasinoMeister, two single gamblers found romance from across the Atlantic Ocean and the anonymity of the World Wide Web.

A few eyebrows were raised at the CasinoMeister headquarters when two of the online gambling hub’s most loquacious members logged in from the same IP address one day. The CasinoMeister mods disregarded the peculiarity, but it all makes sense now! Swede and Cynthial first contacted each other via exchanges on the CasinoMeister message board. As his name suggests, “Swede” is an antiques auctioneer who formerly lived in Sweden. Cynthial is also self-employed as the owner of a construction business in the United States. Private messages were relayed when the two slot machine fans felt sparks fly, followed by e-mails and long-distance phone calls in which the pair got to know each other better.

The lovebird slots fans each bought plane tickets for London, where they finally met one another face-to-face. By the time that their whirlwind week of wooing was over, Swede says that he knew that Cynthial was the jackpot he had been waiting for. The slots fans celebrated the New Year 07/08 together by webcam, and made it legal in April with a wedding and Swede’s emigration to the U.S. Now, the pair are making plans for a new addition… a restaurant on Route 66 in New Mexico!
