Slot Review: Penguin
Power
Why don’t you throw on your tuxedo (a “penguin
suit” – get it?) and join some cute and cuddly animals for a little
Antarctic shindig? Penguin Power is yet another online slot game
having to do with the animals that live at the South Pole, a chilly
bunch hanging out amidst the ice floes and near-constant lack of
daylight. It’s not as if this title distinguishes itself overmuch
from the many other slot machine offerings of this oeuvre, but it is
very cute and playable in an understated fashion.
Penguin Power is a five-reel, twenty-payline online slot machine
title from Real Time Gaming. It’s biggest draw is the ubiquitous RTG
Random Progressive Jackpot that can be won on any spin, regardless
of outcome. The reels are set against a background of dark, icy
blue, and the symbols all depict creatures that thrive in the snowy
wilderness! You’ll see a darling little baby seal, a penguin, and a
fish. Letters and numbers covered in a layer of frost fill out the
reels. The theme is supported very well by the graphics; we’d be
surprised if you don’t get a chill just playing!
Coin values range from one cent to five dollars, with the max coins
value set at twenty for a highest per-spin wager of one hundred
dollars. The jackpot is five thousand coins, or twenty-five thousand
dollars on a max bet. There are wilds, scatters, and up to fifteen
free spins. Combined with multipliers, players may win as much as
one hundred times their bet amounts of they earn a scatter prize
during this round. Wow!
