Slot Review: Paris
Beauty
Across the world, Paris, France, is know as The
City of Lights, but also the city of love. Romance is alive and well
in this storied European capital, which is home to haute couture,
globally admired cuisine, and the Eiffel Tower. Taking a trip to
this landmark destination is on many, many people’s lists of things
to do before they die, and can be counted as a once-in-a-lifetime
experience, especially with the high cost of airfare and travel
within this city and the terrible exchange rate being faced by many
(including Americans, right now). Paris Beauty is ostensibly an
online slot game dedicated to the glory of visiting La Ville-Lumière,
but it falls pretty much flat in that regard. It would be much
better to take this Beauty for what it is – a decent slot machine
title – and not believe that you are going to have some sort of
transcendent experience playing it.
Paris Beauty is a five-reel, twenty-payline online slot game from
Real Time Gaming. Coin values start at one cent and range upwards to
five dollars, with the max coins established at twenty – one coin
per payline permitted, for a max bet of one hundred dollars per
spin. The jackpot of forty-five hundred coins amounts to twenty-two
thousand, five hundred dollars on a maxed-out bet… a pretty decent
jackpot, although not exactly one that will fly you first-class to
check out Mona Lisa’s smile for yourself!
The symbols on the reels are pretty lame – there’s a croissant, a
paintbrush, a hot (presumably Gallic) guy, and an image of the Arc
de Triomphe. Really, there is so much more that the software
designers could have done with the theme, that it’s very
disappointing. There are wilds, scatters, and free spins.
