Slot Review: Lotto
Madness
It has always amused us a bit that, in the United
States, playing the lottery is sometimes the only legalized form of
gambling in a particular state or region. State governments are keen
to legalize lotto versus slot machines (or other forms of gambling),
probably because the “house edge” is SO skewed when it comes to the
lottery. This type of gambling is just as likely to make addicts of
people as any other form, and the same qualms that folks have with
the slots can easily be applied to the lotto as well. Hmmm. We’ll
get off the soapbox now, but that’s a major sticking point with us!
Lotto Madness may just be the ultimate conflict for uptight
lawmakers – an online slot themed on playing the lottery.
Lotto Madness is an online slot title by Playtech, which only does
business overseas. Coin values, therefore, are solely in British
denominations – from one pence to ten pounds, with max coins of
twenty making the highest per-spin wager one of two hundred pounds.
The jackpot is ten thousand pounds, or one hundred thousand pounds
when maxed out.
Lotto balls with various numbers on them are, predictably, the icons
filling out the majority of reel space. A happy lotto player, a
scratch-off ticket, and a magnum of Champaign with two glasses also
appear on the wheels. That’s not to mention the Dollar Ball
progressive jackpot, which requires additional money to play, but
which can really boost your bankroll! This jackpot has hit at over
three hundred thousand pounds before, and could really change your
life!
