Slot Review: Fame
And Fortune
With the Academy Awards having just been on
television last night, it’s timely and appropriate that we are
reviewing an online slot game called “Fame and Fortune.” Across the
world, star struck viewers watched gorgeous actors and actresses
swan down the red carpet in gorgeous couture gowns and glinting
diamond jewelry worth more than their mortgages. The life of a
Hollywood star is one that makes us sick with envy, even though most
of us would prefer the privacy and anonymity of our mundane lives to
the stalking of paparazzi and their omnipresent cameras. Fame and
Fortune is a tribute to the lifestyle associated with stardom,
albeit not a particularly impressive one.
Fame and Fortune is a five-reel, twenty-payline online slot machine
game by Real Time Gaming. Coin values range from one cent to five
dollars, with max coins of twenty (one per payline) making the
highest per-spin wager one of one hundred dollars. There is a small
progressive jackpot as the top prize in this slot game, along with
the normal RTG random progressive jackpot that can be won on any
spin regardless of outcome.
The reels of this game are set on a background of red curtains, with
glamorous men and women on the reels as well as tokens of fame like
fancy cars. The Fame star and Fortune stars are the tickets to free
spins and bonus multipliers, the likes of which can really boost
your slot machine winnings. The money you can win isn’t too bad with
this game, but the rewards and gameplay are just humdrum, and
nothing too fabulous.
