888 Is Simply Great

The online slots and casino gambling site 888.com has again been recognized as one of the superlative internet gaming sites on the World Wide Web, this time by Gambling Online Magazine. On Monday, news broke that readers had voted 888.com as Top Casino of the Year, among six other accolades. There are any number of independent casino site rankings and annual awards, both on the Web and in “real” life, but the player votes behind the GOM awards are particularly sweet, said Matt Robinson.

The Vice President of Marketing for 888.com called it “an honor” to receive the top prize, and a “tremendous distinction.” Gambling Online Magazine is a publication whose readership is made up of slot game and casino players who frequent both online and land casino venues. Robinson said that the award had “tremendous relevance” to the casino staff, because it came from people who “actually play” the games that 888 has to offer, and who have weighted the casino’s merits against their competitors’ to place 888 at the “top of the hierarchical tree in today's casino market place."

It’s been a pretty significant year for 888 already, with the site having already rounded up some of the most coveted kudos in the industry. The eGaming awards, hosted by eGaming Review Magazine, saw the site win Land Links Partnership of the Year, Best Bingo Operator, and Overall Operator of the Year. In October, the renowned online slots and casino gaming site also scooped up a pair of trophies at the Leisure Report Awards. Congratulations, 888.com!
