Slot Review: Summer Holiday
Until
recently, the market on super-deluxe-payline slots was cornered by a
single title: Microgaming’s inimitable “Cashapillar” slot. Boasting
one hundred incredible paylines (one for every foot attached to the
titular centipede), Cashapillar was truly an online slot experience
unlike any other. Microgaming apparently decided that the time was
ripe to try and replicate the tremendous success they had
experienced with their first hundred payline offering. Along came
Summer Holiday – a title perfectly appropriate for the dog days of
August in which we currently find ourselves. If you can’t swing a
beachside picnic of your very own, take a few spins on this online
slot for a vicarious shot of sun and fun… as well as a healthy
chance of some big cash wins!
Summer Holiday is a five-reel online slot machine game, with one
hundred paylines. Coin values start at one cent and range up to a
quarter. You can certainly play this as a penny slot, but the
tremendous amount of paylines essentially means that you can’t get
away with betting at least a dollar a spin. The max coins value is
set at one thousand, or ten coins per payline. That makes the
highest per-spin wager one of two hundred and fifty dollars. The
jackpot is set at seventy-five hundred coins, or eighteen hundred
seventy-five dollars. If that wager-to-jackpot ratio seems a little
low, don’t stress out. With this many paylines, almost every spin is
a winner.
The icons on the reels are all perfectly suited to the theme,
depicting people having sun by the seaside. Biking, riding a jet
ski, and diving off a dock are all pictured, plus you will also see
some yummy summertime treats. With wilds, scatters, and twenty-five
free spins at a triple multiplier, it’s certainly unlikely that you
will get bored on this “holiday!”
