Group Unveils First-Ever Slot/ATM Device

A Pittsburg, PA group has officially unveiled a device that could be one of the gambling industry’s biggest innovations, or one of its worst ideas ever to take shape. InventHelp, a firm that bills itself as “America’s largest inventor service company” announced yesterday that it was representing an inventor who had designed the world’s first-ever slot machine / ATM combo. InventHelp had obtained a patent for the device on behalf of their client, who hails from Baltimore, Maryland.

Ever had to stop playing the slots because you ran out of cash? Worse, have you ever hit a hot streak on one particular slot game and frantically left to go get more cash, only to find another player’s behind warming the seat that was so recently yours? The new invention could make it so that this disaster never again hurts the mojo of another slot machine aficionado!

The InventHelp ATM/Slot Machine hybrid would include slots for credit or debit cards, as well as tickets, bills, and coins. Otherwise, the device functions as a regular slot device. Buttons on the slot machine would allow players to cash out all their bets, cash out their winnings, bet, bet maximum, or spin, and will display the number of available credits, so that the player in question always knows exactly where they stand. Of course, this device would also constitute de facto enablement of problem gamblers, because it would take away even the slightest obstacle to these players accessing the cash they need to get an ongoing “fix.”

InventHelp says that it is looking for casinos interested in test-driving the machines and giving feedback on their use.
