Slot Review: Orient
Express
The title might conjure up images of intrigue,
glamour, and Far East appeal, but you shouldn’t expect too much of
any of these things from Orient Express. This completely
disappointing slot game is a poor effort from Vegas Technologies, a
lesser-known casino gambling software provider. With a tiny jackpot,
lame excuses for graphics, and no bells or whistles to entice
players, it’s unlikely that you will find much about this slot
machine to enjoy.
Orient Express features five reels and twenty-one paylines. Coin
values range from one cent to ten dollars. Max coins is set at
twenty-one – although we would not understand why anyone would want
to waste up to two hundred ten dollars a spin on this
disappointment. (Luckily, this game comes equipped with a free
practice mode so that, if you wish, you can try it out without
having to spend your hard-earned money.) There is a jackpot of just
twenty five hundred coins.
We’re unsure if an actual Vegas Technology employee actually
designed this online slot machine game, or if the company used this
as a project for Take Your Child to Work Day. The symbols (dragon
ships, tigers, dragons, and ninja girls) look like they were drawn
by a child. There are no wild or scatter symbols, as no bonus
features. This slots title does feature a “stop” button that allows
you to stop the reels individually in hopes of having a better
chance of lining up a winning jackpot. There was some music playing
that we guess was Asian-sounding, but otherwise, there was not much
to recommend this game.
