Slot Review: 7
Oceans
There is a right way and a wrong way to “do” a
no-frills online slot title, in our opinion. In a recent review, we
complained about at least one casino software company using the
guise of an old-school fruit machine to cop out and produce a really
boring title. That is not the case with 7 Oceans. Named after the
seven major bodies of water on Earth (can you name them all?), this
simple, little game is absolutely perfect for players who maybe are
just dipping their toes into the whole internet fruit machine thing
for the first time, or those who appreciate the clean, uncluttered
look of a title that sticks to the basics and does them well. This
three-reel, single-payline punter from Microgaming won’t make you a
fortune or leave you reeling from the dizzying array of features it
offers, but we like it, anyway.
The 7 Oceans online slot game features classic fruit machine symbols
of sevens, BAR icons, and clown fish – the kind that many people
call “Nemos” after the now-famous Disney character – on the reels.
Visually, the game is very colorful and organized. The pay tables
are concise, and very clearly demonstrate the payouts for each
combination, based on coin size. Bets range from twenty-five cents
to five dollars, with maximum coin size of three. That makes the
maximum jackpot twenty-five thousand dollars.
7 Oceans doesn’t feature any wild symbols, scatters, multipliers,
video animation, or bonus games. If you enjoy an online slot with
the basics, or enjoy the soothing sensation of playing a game that
surrounds you with crystal blue water, this could be a very
enjoyable diversion for you!
