Naples Slot Parlor
Takes Focus Off $$$
On any given day, the Palace Games Too is filled
with the happy faces of people playing their favorite slot machine.
It might surprise you to know that nobody’s actually winning any
money. Well – not cash, anyway. This mini-casino, located in a
discount outlet mall in the busy tourist town of Naples, Florida,
attracts folks who play the slot games for fun and entertainment,
mostly, since the most that anyone is going to win for playing is a
few gift cards.
The Palace Games Too was the brainchild of Nancy S. Kelly, who
created the original Palace Games in Bonita Springs back in 2004.
Kelly wanted to create an entertainment venue for folks to eat,
drink, gamble, and socialize in a fun and intimate atmosphere.
Palace Games Too has one hundred thirty-three slot machines, some of
which cost as little as eight cents a spin. It would not be legal
for Kelly’s operation to host slots if players gambled for cash, so
guests play for gift cards to such local landmarks as Publix
supermarkets, the Bonefish Grill restaurant, Target, and Home Depot.
If you win over one hundred dollars, your winnings are automatically
placed on a Visa gift card.
In terms of hospitality, Palace Games Too can’t be beat. The
establishment is open from nine in the morning until midnight seven
days a week, and free food is catered around the clock. If you come
in during the morning, you’ll get breakfast with your slots
experience; later in the day you can expect lunch or dinner, or just
a snack and a non-alcoholic drink. Kelly focuses on keeping the
environment sociable and inviting. She personally decorates the
mini-casino for all holidays, and likes to greet her guests
personally.
