Slot Manufacturer
Profile: Atronic Games (Part 2)
The company has taken notice of the massive
popularity of licensed slot titles like Wheel of Fortune, and run
with that theme.
Atronic was responsible for the Phantom of the Opera slot machine
title, based on the ubiquitous Broadway musical about a beautiful
young opera singer and the masked man that falls in love with her.
American gamblers thrilled to the title, and flocked to it in
numbers large enough to justify a spin-off (Phantom of the Opera II)
slot title. The company also recently unveiled its Miami Vice game,
based on the success of last year’s movie adaptation of the 80s TV
show. A more recent television success to be made into a slot by
Atronic is the fantastic game show title “Deal or No Deal,” starring
Howie Mandel. This game’s bonus asks players to try their luck in a
way very similar to those on the game show with their numbered
suitcases containing different amounts of money.
Yet, Atronic has made the biggest name for themselves in terms of
their proprietary slot machine titles, the ones that they have
developed themselves. One such example of the company’s unique touch
in terms of game design is Grand Master, a fruit machine based upon
the classic game of chess. This slot title features all the classic
attributes of chess, brought to life in state-of-the-art graphics so
crisp that they virtually jump off the reel! The symbols are black
and white, and the King and Queen pieces represent bonus
opportunities. Another self-styled Atronic title is Big Boy Toys,
which is themed around hot rods. This game features a truly unique
bonus.
