Superhero Slots: X-Men

Is there anyone out there who doesn’t know about the Incredible X-Men? Whether our not you are a comic book fan, it’s pretty hard to escape the near omnipresence of these turbo-charged superheroes. The students of Professor Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters were given the Hollywood treatment in a trilogy of blockbuster movies, and have inspired a blizzard of merchandising ranging from action figures to pajamas. Now, this team of impressive mutants has their own online slot game, courtesy of Cryptologic’s Marvel superheroes series.

This five-reel, nine-payline slot features icons depicting such legendary characters as Wolverine (who since has been given his own Cryptologic slot game), Jean Grey and her paramour Cyclops, Storm, Gambit, and Rogue, plus villains Mystique, Nightcrawler, and Sabretooth. The game is connected to the Cryptologic Marvel progressive jackpot network, but carries a max jackpot of seventy-five hundred coins, or thirty-seven thousand, five hundred dollars by itself.

The symbol of Professor Xavier is the wild symbol, which can substitute for any other image on the reels in a winning combination, with the exception of the scatter symbol. The X-Men logo is the scatter. If you land two or more of these on the reels, you win a prize. If you get three or more logo symbols, you activate the video game-esque bonus game. Pick which superhero to deploy to each of four problem zones, and watch them duke it out with evil nemeses! If your heroes win, you score some bonus cash!
