Slot Review: Cherry
Blossoms
We weren’t too impressed with Cherry Blossoms, one
of the latest offerings from lesser-known casino software company
Vegas Technology. This Japanese-inspired online slot game offered
very little of the exotic appeal of the Far East, even though it
featured some serious high-rolling opportunities and a sizeable top
jackpot.
The blossoms of the cherry tree are an icon symbol of Japanese
culture. Delicately beautiful and full of sweet fragrance, these
pink blooms have inspired countless poems and millions of viewing
parties throughout the years. The spotty digital depictions of pink
flowers on this online slot machine title are unlike to inspire
anyone, however. The game features symbols of the geisha, a fan, a
hand bell, a lamp, and a blossom, as well as the ace, king, queen,
jack, ten, and nine. There are free spin opportunities, as well as
wild and scatter symbols. This game does not lend itself well to
replaying, because it got monotonous to us after just a few spins.
Luckily, many vegas Technology casinos offer a practice mode, so you
can try this out before spending your money on it.
Cherry Blossoms features five reels and twenty-five paylines, with
coin values ranging from one cent to ten dollars, and max coins of
twenty-five. The top jackpot is twelve thousand, five hundred coins.
That makes the top jackpot a not-at-all shabby one hundred
twenty-five thousand dollars. There are twenty-seven winning
combinations. All in all, there are games offering higher winnings
with more excitement, so we can’t really recommend these cherry
blossoms to any online slot fans.
