Slot Review:
Enchanted Beans
We have to admit, it was the title that did us in.
When we heard of an online slot game called Enchanted Beans, we’ll
have to admit that we were a bit confused. Turns out that this
five-reel, thirty-payline punter from online casino software giant
Cryptologic is actually a bastardization of the much-beloved “Jack
and the Beanstalk” tale. Of course, the fabled beanstalk grew from…
enchanted beans. (We feel pretty silly, now!)
Anyway, this online slot machine is low on graphics, but high on
cash and a certain, indisputable charm. This is a game that caters
to high rollers and the broker among us alike, with coin values
ranging from one penny all the way up to twenty dollars! Max coins
is thirty, so one could theoretically wager six hundred dollars a
spin… which is pretty much higher than almost anything else we’ve
seen! The jackpot is five thousand coins, which brings your
potential haul to one hundred thousand bucks – not too shabby at
all!
Our feelings about online slot designers using letters and numbers
to fill in the reels is long-established (we don’t like it!), but
Enchanted Beans makes up for it with a really cool effect that makes
it seem as if the beanstalk is growing with the spinning reels!
Symbols of a singing harp, gold coins, and a castle are featured.
This game features wild and scatter symbols, as well as a free spin
bonus game that will make you feel like the owner of the goose who
lays the golden eggs!
