Slot Review: Queen
of Hearts
The Queen of Hearts gets a lot of play in popular
culture. We rarely hear about the Queen of Clubs, for example. But
the Queen of Hearts is known to have baked some tarts (as the
nursery rhyme goes), cavorted with Alice in a twisted game of
croquet (in Lewis Carroll’s Wonderland series of books), and now she
has her own online slot machine. This version of the Queen, however,
is the staid version that appears on classic playing cards. Wearing
her yellow hood and mantle, this Queen overlooks a slot game that is
based off of classic poker combinations.
Queen of Hearts is a three-reel, four-payline online slot game from
the Vegas Technology software provider. Coin values range from ten
cents to ten dollars on this title, and you may bet up to four coins
a spin. Betting the highest coin size is always a good bet, because
you can seldom win the top jackpot of any fruit machine –real or
simulated- without it. This game is no exception. In the case of
Queen of Hearts, the top prize is a twenty thousand dollar,
non-progressive jackpot (two thousand coins). The jackpot falls by
five hundred coins, or twenty-five percent, with every coin less
than the maximum.
The Queen herself is the jackpot symbol in this slot game. You will
also see icons representing the four playing card suits – hearts,
spades, diamonds, and clubs. All other images (like those logos
representing major Vegas Technology-powered online casinos) are
nonpaying. This internet fruit machine has a certain retro appeal
that we enjoyed, and we think that you will as well.
