Slot Review: Pinocchio

Pinocchio is the much-loved Italian fairytale about a wooden puppet who longs to become a real boy. Pinocchio is probably best-known through the classic Disney movie, as well as a live-action treatment of the tale that came out in the late 90s. Children’s tales are a hot topic for online slot games, so it’s little surprise that Real Time Gaming has capitalized on the popularity of this wonderful story.

Pinocchio is a five-reel, twenty-line slot machine title. The game appears to be set in a Bavarian tinker’s shop, with stained glass windows and wooden beams setting the mood. The eponymous marionette keeps close watch over the reels, hoping that you will be the one to break the spell and give him a real family! Coin values range from one cent to five dollars, with max coins set at twenty. High rollers will love the options, as will cheapskates on the opposite end of the wagering spectrum! Pinocchio’s animal friends can be seen on the reels, as can scenes from his story. Letters and numbers looking like they were carved from wood fill out the reels. The pictures are done very well, and give a polished look to this game. The sound effects also compliment the game nicely. Pinocchio features wilds, scatters, and a bonus game. We really enjoyed this title – and that’s no lie! (You can tell by our noses!)
