FL Woman Has Much to Be Thankful For!

Terese Moore was giving thanks two days early this holiday week! Moore, a fifty-seven year old woman from Land O’Lakes, Florida, was visiting the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa on Tuesday when she experienced a dream come true – a slot machine jackpot win of over two and a half MILLION dollars! Moore is still shell-shocked from the experience of having become an instant millionaire, courtesy of the Wheel of Fortune Megajackpot pokey at the land casino owned by the Seminole Indian tribe.

Moore told a reporter from the St. Petersburg Times that she “felt drawn” to visit the Hard Rock this week, like she never had before. The social worker, originally from Michigan, had procured some coupons for a free buffet dinner, and decided to bring one of her friends along for the trip. She describes herself as “frugal,” but took a chance on the Wheel of Fortune slot game, which costs ten dollars a spin. Moore thought that she was going great when she was up about six hundred eight bucks after a few spins. Little did she know, the best was yet to come!

When the machine started flashing lights and sound, Moore couldn’t believe her eyes or ears! Wheel of Fortune, one of the most popular slot machine titles around, is a progressive game linked to many other terminals both within the casino and around the state and nation. Moore just happened to be the lucky duck who hit it big! For now, she hasn’t quite decided what she’s going to do with her booty. But she’s keeping her plans to visit Las Vegas with her husband next week, a trip she scheduled before her win. With luck like that, we would run to Vegas, too!
