Slot Review: Legacy
There are those who have always appreciated the
simpler things in life, especially when the simple things are more
elegant. These are the folks who eschew fancy mixed cocktails for a
classic martini made with the best gin on the bar, and prefer the
understated look of “boring” but well-made handbags and shoes to the
flashier models in a store. The Legacy online slot game is obviously
trying to cater to these types, but we also know that there is a
fine line between “simple” and “boring.” It’s our humble opinion
that this Microgaming slot machine falls on the latter side, but
your opinion may vary.
Legacy is a three-reel, five-payline online slot machine title. Coin
values range from one dollar to twenty-five dollars, with max coins
set at five. Like all Microgaming slots, Legacy cannot be won at the
full jackpot amount unless one has bet max coins on the winning
payline. With a minimum wager of five dollars, taking a crack at the
jackpot could be too rich for many players’ blood! The
non-progressive jackpot is established at twenty-four hundred coins,
which is fairly low for the opulent “feel” for which the game’s
creators were so obviously aiming!
Legacy features only three symbols, in three different colors – the
“L” game logo, icons of the number “7,” and single/double/triple BAR
symbols, in shades of crimson, black, and white. The “L” is wild.
There isn’t much to the gameplay of Legacy, and we found it to grow
tedious after a few spins. It seems that there really is such a
thing as TOO simple!
