Slot Review: Vinyl
Countdown
If you have never seen the film
Grease, we seriously wonder what is wrong with you. This movie
musical, derived from a Broadway show of the same name, is an
immortal mix of love story, great tunes, comedy, and nostalgia. The
tale of Danny and Sandy, star-crossed lovers from opposite sides of
the high school social pecking order (she’s a virginal square, he’s
a leather jacket-wearing greaser) is a virtual pop culture
phenomenon. We probably should dislike Vinyl Countdown for being a
pale imitation of Grease, but we actually appreciated the tribute.
If you are “hopelessly devoted” to the culture of the Fifties, you
will like this online slot game!
Vinyl Countdown is a five-reel,
nine-payline online slot machine game from Microgaming. Coin values
start at twenty-five cents and go up to two dollars, with a modest
max coins limit set at nine. The jackpot is just one thousand coins,
but this is a title that pays out so often that you don’t really
wish for a bigger pot.
Delicious ice cream treats are
on the reels, along with dancing shoes and icons of our not!Danny
and not!Sandy protagonists. There is also a big red heart icon with
an image of two lovers dancing the night away! The jukebox symbol is
wild, and can complete any winning combination. The glitter ball is
a scatter symbol. Collect at least three of these to win a prize.
Whether you are a Pink Lady or a T-Bird, this hep little slot game
will probably have you feeling pretty far out! Grease is the word!
