Slot Review: Bush
Telegraph
When out in the wilderness of the African bush,
the pounding of drums acts as a sort of telegraph between
neighboring village, spreading news, gossip, and important
information over long distances. The bush telegrams may be an
innovative and effective way of keeping in touch, but we can’t
attach similar praise to the Bush Telegram online slot machine by
casino software giant Microgaming. Offering only a tiny jackpot,
garish visuals, and a lack of replayability, we could not give this
slot game much praise.
Bush Telegram is a five-reel, fifteen-payline
online slot. Coin values range from two cents to one dollar, with
max coins set at fifteen. This makes the max bet per spin fifteen
dollars. You will need to wager the max coins on every spin to have
a shot at the ten thousand coin (ten thousand dollars maximum),
non-progressive jackpot.
Drum-playing toucans and other jungle-related
symbols share the reels with huge, brightly-hued letters and numbers
covered in a batik print. The wild bush symbol is wild, and can
stand in for any other symbol in a winning combination. The seedpod
is a scatter symbol. There is a simple, “guess the color” bonus
game, which is activated with any win. You can guess red or black
for a chance to double your winnings, or bypass the game to keep
what you have. The Bongo Bonus game is activated when you land at
least three Bongo Bonus symbols on the reels. Pick three drums, and
win the accumulated bonus amount.
