Slot Review: Big Break

Have you been waiting for your big break? This could very well be your opportunity to catch a big one! Big Break is a great online slot game title from Microgaming, featuring the antics of some surfing primates. The “break” of the title refers to waves – something that surfers are obviously very interested in! You will probably take a radical interest in the colorful, three-dimensional graphics of this punter, as well as the many opportunities to scoop up a little extra cash!

Big Break is a five-reel, fifteen-payline online slot machine title. Coin values range from one cent to fifty cents, with max coins of one hundred fifty. You can bet up to seventy-five dollars per spin, for a top jackpot of just one thousand coins, or five hundred bucks. A jackpot so tiny pays out very often, but we are not sure of we’d gamble a full sixth of the top prize with every spin to get it!

It’s a shame, because we had a lot of fun trying out this slot. The reels are bedecked with big, bold icons in many tropical colors. We liked that the game put a spin on the typical “fruit machine” icons by using all tropical fruit to fill out the reels – mangoes, kiwi, coconuts, bananas, and papaya! The surfboarding monkeys are also present, ready for some action. With wilds, scatters, free spins, multipliers, and a bonus game, this slot game really pulls out all the stops. We just wish that there was a little bit more incentive for us to gamble on these groovy monkeys!
